The Institute for Solar Energy Research Hameln (ISFH) faces the grand challenge of developing efficient solar systems and of developing low-cost components for photovoltaics and solar thermal.

The Institute offers their know-how and research infrastructure for co-operations to industrial partners to assist the companies to generate better solar products in shorter time.

The Institute conducts publicly funded leading edge research for solar energy. The academic and practical knowledge generated shall help to spread the use of solar energy worldwide.
